Head men’s basketball head coach Quinton Ferrell announced the signing of guard Michael Isler (Albany, Ga.) and forward Luka Jaksic (Woodstock, Ga.) to join the Presbyterian Blue Hose in the fall.
It brings the signing class to six with the earlier additions of guard Zeb Graham (Fort Mill), guard Sean Jenkins (Spartanburg), forward Owen McCormack (Advance, N.C.), and guard C.J. Melton (Hoover, Ala.)
Isler is a 6-4 guard from Westover High School.
“Mike (Isler) is a young man who is very athletic,” Ferrell said. “He has the chance to be one of the better athletes in the Big South from day one. He brings a lot of versatility to the perimeter and paint. He plays with great energy and effort on offense and defense.
Jaksic, a 6-8 forward who attended Furtah Prep, was born in Zagreb, Croatia.
“Luka (Jaksic) is a very skilled big guy who will bring a lot of versatility to our basketball team,” Ferrell said. “He has the ability to make shots out to the three-point line, while also being able to put the ball on the floor to attack the basket. Luka has a great understanding of the game and is a terrific passer.”
