Clinton High School will push back the start of Thursday’s Spring Football Game from 6 to 7 p.m. in anticipation of forecast intense heat and the “wet-bulb policy” of the S.C. High School League.
A wet-bulb thermometer measures whether or not heat is too excessive to let a game, practice or scrimmage be held.
Due to the continuing construction at Wilder Stadium, this year’s game will be held at the football field at the track on the CHS campus. Fans are asked to bring their own chairs. Parking will be available in the auxiliary gym parking lot, the bus ramp parking lot and the gravel parking lot. No cars will be allowed to park along the road.
