Two charged in connection with attempted armed robbery in Ingles parking lot

A Clinton man and a Chappells woman have been arrested and charged in connection with a strong-arm robbery attempt in the parking lot of a Clinton business, a report said.

Authorities identified the suspects as Sincere Traveon Hunt, 18, of 103 Stratford Place, Clinton, and Tyteatris Bresha Longshore, 19, of 671 Poplar Spring Road, Chappells. They posted bond over the weekend and were released from the Johnson Detention Center, a report said.

Incident reports allege that on Dec. 29, Hunt attempted strong-arm robbery by presenting a handgun to the victim and ordering him to give all his belongings. The act is alleged to have happened with two co-defendants in the Ingle’s parking lot, Jacobs Highway, Clinton. He is charged with pointing and presenting a firearm at four victims on East Maple Street on Friday, and with having a quantity of green leafy material identified as marijuana, on Friday on Pine Street, Lydia Mill area, Clinton.

On charges of Attempted Strong-Arm Robbery, Pointing and Presenting a Weapon and Simple Possession of Marijuana, Hunt was released Saturday on cash or surety bonds of $31,000 (robbery and weapons charges) and $628 PR bond on the Simple Possession charge.

Longshore is facing a charge of Attempted Strong-Arm Robbery. A report said on December 29, she allegedly was part of a robbery, by being in a vehicle while Sincere Hunt presented a firearm to the victim and ordered him to give all his belongings. Longshore was released Saturday on a $10,000 cash or surety bond.
