Laurens County EMA urges residents to prepare with weather radios

Both Laurens County public school districts, 55 and 56, are back to regular schedules after the remnants of Hurricane Florence passed through the area on Sunday.

Both announced activities would resume to normal in Sunday releases.

Laurens Academy is expected to follow suit, but Presbyterian College canceled classes for Monday last week.

The storm that devastated eastern North Carolina and the northeastern South Carolina coast did not visit undue damage upon Laurens County.

These storm announcements will be updated as more become available.
