Members of the Clinton High School class of 2013 along with their friends and family gathered on the lawn of the old Clinton High School Thursday evening for a Senior Sunset Dinner.

Graduation for Clinton High School’s Class of 2013 is mere hours away. Below are several final notes pertaining to graduation practice, ticketing, attire and event decorum.

A Clinton High School senior is on her way to a bright career in communications after winning awards at the state and national level.

After nearly 34 years of service to Presbyterian College, Randy Randall will leave his role as Executive Director of Alumni and Community Relations and as mayor of Clinton to serve the people of South Carolina as Commissioner of the Public Service Commission. He will represent the Third Congressional District.

Seventh graders at Bell Street Middle School became instructors for the day as part of the school’s Ecofest held Friday morning.

The City of Clinton Department of Public Works Sanitation Division will revise their garbage collection schedule for the week of May 27, 2013 due to the observation of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 27, 2013.   

The countdown to the end of school is on the mind of nearly every local student. Meanwhile, organizers with the Clinton Coalition for Youth are hard at work preparing to give them another safe, active summer.

The YMCA of Clinton will be offering weeklong swim lessons through June and July of this summer.

Seven local caregivers were recently recognized for their above-and-beyond service at the Whitten Center.
