| Culbertson throws no-hitter for Laurens Academy |

 Laurens Academy senior Ryland Culbertson pitched a complete game, no-hitter this past weekend in a 2-1 victory over First Baptist Charleston in Charleston. Culbertson had 11 strikeouts, walked three batters and gave up the lone run on a throwing error. After allowing five baserunners in the first three innings, Culbertson and the Crusader defense tightened up to retire 13 consecutive hitters.
The offense was led by Christian Greene going 2-3 with 2 singles. Tyler Mitchell had a single and a run scored in the 2nd after a SAC bunt from Joshua Caviness and an RBI double by Taylor Sims. Michael knight had a single in the 7th and scored the winning run on an RBI ground out by Sam Giddens.
