| Crusaders fall to Happy Valley in extra innings |

JE Satterfield started for the Crusaders going three innings giving up five runs on six hits and six strikeouts to give the Warriors a 5-0 lead.
The Crusader offense, however, rallied back and scattered six hits to tie the game at 5-5. Brandon Martin and Satterfield each collected a double with a run scored. Satterfield had an RBI. Griffin Shell and Christian Greene each had RBI singles and Ryland Culbertson had a single with a run scored. Tyler Mitchell added a single.
Martin entered the game in the fourth inning, but suffered the loss on an unearned run in the 8th. He pitched five innings with one run on five hits and seven strikeouts.
The Crusaders fall to 3-2 on the season and will next play on Monday, March 22 at Crescent High School at 7:00 pm.

After falling behind to an early five run lead by the Happy Valley Warriors of the Tennessee High School League, the Laurens Academy varsity boys baseball team rallied back to a 5-5 tie, but ultimately lost 6-5 on Friday night in extra innings.
