| Laurens Academy to open state playoffs at home |

The Laurens Academy Crusaders will begin the road to a fourth consecutive baseball state championship when they open the 2010 SCISA Class A state playoffs at home on Tuesday, May 4. First pitch is scheduled for 6:00pm.
The Crusaders will face Clarendon Hall in a best-of-three state semifinal series. Clarendon Hall defeated Wardlaw Academy in the opening round. The second game of the series wil be Wednesday in Summerton with a third game, if necessary, on Friday at a neutral site.
