Sanders Middle School athletics will have new faces this fall with several coaching changes. Tommy Spires is the new athletic director. Willie Bryson will be the head football coach and will be assisted by Spires, Rico Salliewhite, and former LDHS and University of Georgia standout Norris Brown. Dayna Renwick has been named the new volleyball coach.

Sanders will have physicals at the school on August 10 beginning at 5:00 pm. Any student wanting to participate in athletics must have a current physical on file with the school athletic office. The cost of the physical is $20.

Football practice will begin on August 11 at 3:30 pm. Players should be dressed in shorts and t-shirts. Volleyball tryouts will begin on August 18.
