| At the request of the City of Clinton and its Economic Development Corporation (CEDC), Laurens County Council members voted 4-3 on the first reading of an ordinance on Tuesday night to issue $750,000 in general obligation bonds to provide economic incentives for Presbyterian College to establish a pharmacy school in the old Frampton Hall building in downtown Clinton. |

| Laurens County Council members will host a public hearing today, Aug. 26, on an ordinance that would allow the county to sell up to $775,000 in general obligation bonds to help the City of Clinton offer economic incentives to the new Presbyterian College Pharmacy School. |
