Easley man arrested after burglary, sexual assault at Laurens County residence

Deputies with the Laurens County Sheriff’s Office arrested an Easley man on Friday on multiple charges stemming from an alleged burglary and sexual assault at a Laurens County residence.

Chief Deputy Jarvis Reeder said during the investigation, it was determined that a man forcefully entered a residence, cut the victim with a sharp instrument, held the victim against her will and then sexually assaulted her.

John David Hall, 39, of 147 John Deere Ln. in Easley, was charged with burglary, kidnapping, breach of peace-high and aggravated nature and criminal sexual conduct-first degree. Bond was denied on all four charges.

Hall was transported and booked at the Johnson Detention Center.
