Ashley Yvette Hurt, 24, of Austell, GA, was charged with two counts of financial transaction card theft, two counts of simple larceny, two counts of breaking into a motor vehicle and one count of criminal conspiracy.

Warrants indicate that between Dec. 20 and 21, Hurt and another individual broke into an SUV by breaking the passenger window and stealing items from the vehicle.

According to warrants, both individuals conspired to steal blank checks and identities and then conspired to forge checks and cash them while using stolen identities.

Another warrant indicates that both individuals took debit cards, purse, wallet, driver’s license and social security card.

Hurt was transported and booked at the Johnson Detention Center.
