Over 30 Laurens District High School students traveled to Dorman High School for the regional Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) District Leadership Conference.

Ms. Angie Dover, an LDHS business education teacher, and Mr. Peyton Crowder, a senior at LDHS, led the conference. Dover also serves as the FBLA Advisor at LDHS and as the FBLA District Director. Crowder serves as the South Carolina FBLA State Treasurer.

Students learned how to feel confident in giving presentations, how to use leadership skills effectively, and how to apply their knowledge of the business world at the FBLA District Leadership Conference.

Several LDHS students won awards at the district conference. Students winning awards at the state FBLA are listed below by category from first through fifth place finishes.
