Laurens County celebrated as a top producer at Spotlight on Agriculture

 

The 45th annual Laurens County Spotlight on Agriculture Awards Banquet will be held on Thursday, March 14, in the First Presbyterian Church Family Life Center in Clinton.

The purpose of the event is to focus attention on various aspects of agriculture and related community concerns specific to Laurens County. It is also a time to pay tribute to farmers, their families and their contributions to the county.

The doors open at 5 p.m. The program begins at 6 p.m. Hugh Weathers, Commissioner for the S.C. Department of Agriculture, will be the speaker. The meal will be catered by Shealy’s Barbecue of Leesville.

The tickets are $10 each and must be purchased by March 7 (no tickets sold at the door).
