Presbyterian College tips off its men’s basketball season on Tuesday night at the College of Charleston’s TD Arena, facing reigning champion Cougars of the Colonial Athletic Association in a 7 p.m. game.

PC and C of C have met over 100 times but not since the 1996-97 season.

Dustin Kerns’ first team finished 11-21 last season, led by graduated All-Big South forward Reggie Dillard, who averaged 15.6 points per game. The top returning player is Davon Bell, who is third in career assists for the Blue Hose. Last year Bell dished out 165 assists, the most in a single season since the Blue Hose joined NCAA Div. I.

Bell also scored an average of 12.8 points per game.

The Blue Hose are also on the road on Saturday, when they travel to Cookeville to play Tennessee Tech. The Nov. 10 game also begins at 7.
