The senior girls were in eighth grade the last time Laurens Academy had a softball team.

This year the Crusaders are fielding both varsity and junior varsity team. It’s back to the basics for head coach Shannon Reynolds and assistant coach Megan Huck, but the girls are committed and eager to learn.

It will be the senior class legacy to build the foundation for this program for many years to come. Both teams will play in their first game of the season this Friday at Greenwood Christian.

Shown in the photos are the seniors, as well as varsity and JV teams.
