Ann S. Martin, of 306 Sims Street, passed away Thursday, October 3, 2019, at her home.
She was born in Clinton and was a daughter of the late Otis B. and Ethel Ballew Smith.
Ann retired as an Administrative Assistant at CBI (B.F. Shaw).
She is survived by her husband, Reggie Martin of the home; her son, Kevin Emory (Larissa) of Shepherdstown, W.Va.; her daughters, Melissa Smythe (Tom) of Fort Myers, Fla., and René Courville (Chase) of Praireville, La.; her grandchildren, Ben, C.J., Dean, A.J., and Brittany Emory, Sarah Epting, Zachary and Janna Epting, Gabrielle Sherfield, Destyne and Mikey Nethken, and Lawson Courville; and her great-grandchildren, Millie Epting, Madison Sherfield and Jax Sherfield.
In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased by her son, Michael H. Poag, and her sisters, Ruth Patterson and Naomi Prince.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 5, at 4 p.m., at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 3 to 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
